Public Infrastructure Completed, Residents Run Smoothly
Now the residents of Bandungrejo Village can carry out activities smoothly after the Public Infrastructure Improvement Program from PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) is completed and handed over from the Implementation Team to the Bandungrejo Village Head. The handover took place at the Bandungrejo Village Hall, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro, East Java on Wednesday (02/12). The village infrastructure program was handed over directly from the implementing team to the Bandungrejo Village Head and witnessed by PT Pertamina EP Cepu representatives.
This program is in the form of the construction of a retaining wall (TPT) on the Bandungrejo - Kliteh village road. This program aims to support strong and sturdy road infrastructure because so far the road has often been damaged and collapsed when it rains. The program, which started in September 2020, was carried out by the community themselves, so that this program also empowers the local community to be directly involved in the development of their village.
In the handover ceremony, PT Pertamina EP Cepu representative, Endra Mugi conveyed to the residents present, that PT Pertamina EP Cepu has a high commitment to the progress of the Bandungrejo villagers. One form of this commitment is to improve this public infrastructure. According to Mugi, the progress of social activities, the economy, education, and the health of rural communities depends on the quality of the village road access infrastructure.
Because the road as a means is an important facility to support the mobility of villagers and plays a role in improving the smooth running of the economy in daily activities. “The purpose of this road construction program is to facilitate the economy in Bandungrejo Village. For that we also thank the Village Government and the people of Bandungrejo, as well as Timlak who made this road construction activity a success,” added Mugi.
Meanwhile, the Head of Bandungrejo Sapani expressed his gratitude to PT Pertamina EP Cepu who is active in providing support for public facilities in his village. Sapani said that the location of the road being built so far has often been damaged by landslides and collapsed during the rainy season. With this program, residents can safely pass through for their daily activities. "This is very beneficial for many residents who use the road, so far it is often damaged, but now it is good and strong, so it is safe," said Sapani.
"We have received this good infrastructure assistance from PT Pertamina EP Cepu, now it is our turn to use it well and let us all take care of each other and be responsible for the facilities that have been provided. Let us together support PT Pertamina EP Cepu in completing this National Strategic Project. Whether it's good or not, of course we will also feel it," concluded Sapani.
It is hoped that with the completion of the 1000 meter long TPT program, it is able to provide convenience for the community in their daily activities smoothly. Now, the community is increasingly aware of the benefits after the Jambaran Tiung Biru Gas Field Development & Unitization project.
