15th Anniversary, PT Pertamina EP Cepu Successfully Started JAM-3 Well Testing
Jakarta (14/09) – Today PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) is 15 years old after its establishment on September 14, 2005. Now at the age of 15 years, he has made many proud achievements.
Marking its 15th anniversary, PT Pertamina EP Cepu received a special gift from the Drilling Operations function, as it coincided with the well testing at the Jambaran well site. This well testing is one of the important achievements of the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development Project. Well testing was carried out on the JAM-3 well located at Jambaran East Field in Bandungrejo Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro, East Java on Monday (14/09).
Today's well testing was carried out with a clean up process on the JAM-3 well. This process is a cleaning activity from the remnants of material that was in the well when the previous perforation process was carried out. Next, after the clean up, it will enter the production testing stage on the JAM-3 well, from which the production capacity of the well will be clearly known. An amazing achievement, that the PT Pertamina EP Cepu team can show optimal performance in the midst of a pandemic situation like this.
In commemoration of PT Pertamina EP Cepu's anniversary this time, a thanksgiving event was held virtually which was attended by almost all workers, both on site and in Jakarta. In his remarks, the President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Awang Blueuardi, gave high appreciation to all PT Pertamina EP Cepu officers who never gave up in this difficult situation, dedicatedly trying to complete the work on the JTB Project.
“Thank you to all PT Pertamina EP Cepu Officers who are passionate about giving their best to the company and trying to complete this project as well as possible. Don't forget to also adhere to health protocols with discipline, because that's how we can carry out our duties well and return to work safely and healthily, "said Awang.
On the same occasion, the President Commissioner of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Gandhi Sri Widodo, who also attended the PT Pertamina EP Cepu Anniversary celebration virtually, expressed the highest appreciation for the achievements that PT Pertamina EP Cepu has achieved so far. “Even in a pandemic situation, PT Pertamina EP Cepu officers still show high work morale while maintaining work professionalism. Thank you to all PT Pertamina EP Cepu Officers, Happy Birthday, hopefully it will be even more glorious”, concluded Gandi.
In its journey, PT Pertamina EP Cepu has succeeded in making important performance achievements, including being an active partner of ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) in the management of the Banyu Urip Field, which contributes 25% of national oil production. As the operator of one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN), the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development Project, PT Pertamina EP Cepu has succeeded in transferring management from EMCL and BKS. Then continued in the EPC Gas Processing Facility stage and succeeded in obtaining the largest project financing in Asia Pacific for oil and gas projects.
And today PT Pertamina EP Cepu again presents one of the important milestones in the JTB Project by doing well testing.
All of these achievements cannot be separated from the support of all stakeholders, especially the Bojonegoro Regency Government and the community around the operational area. Hopefully this moment will be a trigger for PT Pertamina EP Cepu to continue to be able to improve its performance in order to provide the best work for the homeland and nation.
