Bojonegoro (10/06) – The Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Gas Field Development Project operated by PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) is one of the National Strategic Projects that is very much a concern and expectation of stakeholders. Carrying the passion for Gas On Stream this year, currently the field, which will produce 192 MMSCFD of gas, has reached more than 90% in the Gas Processing Facility or GPF construction phase. In this regard, PT Pertamina EP Cepu received a working visit from the Head of SKKMIGAS, Dwi Soetjipto accompanied by Rudi Satwiko, Deputy for Business Support and Arief S. Handoko, Deputy for Finance and Monetization on Thursday, June 10, 2021.
On the occasion of the working visit, the Head of SKKMIGAS expressed his hope for the JTB Project to be on-stream according to the schedule. So that the benefits can be immediately felt by the people and nation of Indonesia.
“The JTB project is one of the many oil and gas projects in Indonesia which is also part of our shared vision to realize the target of 1 million BOPD and also 12 BSCFD by 2030. Therefore, we hope that the EPC GPF Project can be completed soon, thus bringing benefits to the community and Indonesian nation. This is a joint task between PT Pertamina EP Cepu, the Government and all parties. I hope that synergies will continue to be carried out for the success of the JTB Project,” said Dwi.
Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Awang Blueuardi welcomed this Working Visit. Awang is optimistic that the target for on-stream can be achieved according to the target, although there are several challenges that must be resolved. In the EPC GPF project, there are several works that must be completed at this final stage such as Building Completion, Completion of Piping and Cabling Construction, Commissioning and several other work completions.
As part of a series of activities, tree planting was also carried out by the Head of SKK Migas and his entourage and PT Pertamina EP Cepu Management at the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Gas Field Development Project site.
