Bojonegoro – Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) together with stakeholders carried out cycling sports activities along the route around the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development Project as far as 10 kilometers into the Bandungrejo Village area, Ngasem, Bojonegoro, East Java on Saturday ( 12/06/2021)
Followed by various elements of stakeholders, around 40 participants consisting of PT Pertamina EP Cepu employees, Bojonegoro Regency Government, Forkopimka elements, local villages, Perhutani as well as media crews, this ride together through the cool and fresh countryside. Carrying the theme Healthy Together, which is the spirit of Pertamina Gowes, it seems to give new enthusiasm to the participants.
On the occasion of taking off the start of the participants for the ride together, JTB Site Office & PGA Manager Pertamina EP Cepu Edy Purnomo said that this activity was not only healthy but also as a medium of friendship so that we can continue to synergize for mutual progress.
“We appreciate the participants who have shared exercise time together while maintaining good communication. Hopefully with this kind of intimacy we will be more solid and together we will be able to get through the pandemic that still exists,” said Edy.
Meanwhile, the Head of Ngasem Sub-district, Waji, who from start to finish pedaled his bicycle with enthusiasm, expressed his gratitude to PT Pertamina EP Cepu for initiating this joint riding activity so that it could further increase PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s closeness with other community components.
The same thing was expressed by the District Military Commander (Danramil) Ngasem, Eeng who also participated in the PT Pertamina EP Cepu riding activity. According to Eeng, activities like this are very meaningful for stakeholders because they can strengthen the synergy to create a sense of security and mutual harmony.
This activity was also appreciated by Bappeda Bojonegoro for the synergistic collaboration in the implementation of the PT Pertamina EP Cepu Community Development Program (PPM) which helped promote the potential of local tourist destinations.
In the midst of traveling on the cycling route, the participants also had time to stop at the location of the PT Pertamina EP Cepu Community Development Program (PPM) in the form of laying hens. There, the participants saw firsthand how the production of laying hens in the community around the project initiated by PT Pertamina EP Cepu since 2018 has grown and is able to improve the village economy. The participants ended the ride at Puthuk Kreweng Nature Tourism, Mojodelik Village, Gayam District.
The participants of this riding activity are limited and do not involve large crowds so that health protocols can still be implemented.
