Socialization of HSSE Rewards & Consequences Implementation at Pertamina EP Cepu

JAKARTA – PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) held a Socialization on the Implementation of Rewards & Consequences for the Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) in 2018 and Resume of the Results of the 2017 PT Pertamina EP Cepu HSSE Culture Survey, inviting the Pertamina HSSE Safety Strategic & Audit Manager Ari Saptama as resource persons, at the Office PT Pertamina EP Cepu Center Jakarta, on (31/1/2018).

This event was attended by all levels of Central PT Pertamina EP Cepu and Pertamina HSSE Upstream Vice President Nepos Pakpahan.

On that occasion, Nepos Pakpahan invited all PT Pertamina EP Cepu personnel to be equally committed to implementing HSSE in every job. “The goal is that zero fatality in 2017 to zero LTI (Loss Time Incident) in 2018 can be realized,” he appealed. Meanwhile, Ari Saptama explained, to achieve HSSE Excellence, there are five strategic pillars that must be implemented, namely HSSE culture, communication & knowledge management, technical HSSE management, incident prevention, and operational stewardship & sustainability. He also explained about the rewards and consequences set for operating units and subsidiaries.

Meanwhile, from the results of the PT Pertamina EP Cepu HSSE culture survey, it is explained that the average value/score of the HSSE culture level in PT Pertamina EP Cepu is 3.70. “This figure is relatively good, with details of 37.84% of PT Pertamina EP Cepu respondents being at the pathological to calculative culture level, and 62.16% of PT Pertamina EP Cepu respondents being at the proactive to generative culture level,” he concluded.
