Bojonegoro (30/07) – In order to welcome Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijriyah, as well as efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development Project, PT Pertamina EP Cepu held a gathering to the community around the operating area that located in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. The gathering, which was held in conjunction with the distribution of the sacrificial animals, was symbolically handed over by the JTB Site Office & PGA Manager of PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu), Edy Purnomo to the Head of the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Bojonegoro Regency, drh Catur Rahayu K Msi at his office, on Thursday , (30/7).
With the theme “PT Pertamina EP Cepu Gathering amidst the Mitigation of the Covid-19 Pandemic & In the Context of Eid Al-Adha 1441 H in Bojonegoro Regency”, this year, PT Pertamina EP Cepu together with RJJ and its Sub Contractors distributed 68 sacrificial animals consisting of 22 cows and 46 goats. .
This distribution is spread over several locations and villages and institutions in five sub-districts in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. This year’s Eid al-Adha feels different from previous years, because this year it takes place in the midst of a pandemic situation. Everyone must observe strict health protocols. However, it is also hoped that it will still have the meaning of togetherness and closeness.
According to Edy Purnomo, despite the current difficult situation, PT Pertamina EP Cepu as K3S implementing the JTB Project continues to distribute sacrificial animals to areas around the operation and Bojonegoro. Moreover, because the pandemic that occurred at the end of last year had an impact on economic conditions, it is hoped that this time the qurban can help ease the burden on the community due to the pandemic, without reducing the meaning of Eid al-Adha itself.
“By always being obedient and obedient to health protocols, Alhamdulillah, today we are in touch and we can distribute sacrificial animals to beneficiaries in the Bojonegoro Regency area. Hopefully this Eid al-Adha we can still share feelings with the community. still going on, it is quite draining the efforts of all parties, but we can still stay in touch with the community, continue the feeling for this Eid al-Adha,” said Edy.
Meanwhile, from the Committee for Islamic Religious Holidays (PHBI) who is also the Head of the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Bojonegoro Regency, drh Catur Rahayu K MSi, when receiving the delivery of sacrificial animals in Bojonegoro, expressed his gratitude for the contribution of PT Pertamina EP Cepu in distributing sacrificial animals in the Bojonegoro area. . “On behalf of the community, we are very grateful to PT Pertamina EP Cepu for sharing sacrificial animals with the community here. Hopefully PT Pertamina EP Cepu can continue to build togetherness with the surrounding community, the community will also have a closer sense of belonging to PT Pertamina EP Cepu”.
