(12/06/2019) – The PT Pertamina EP Cepu Apprentice Program or selection of diploma education scholarships to recruit prospective PT Pertamina EP Cepu Jambaran-Tiung Biru operators continues. Since registration opened on May 14, 2019, the number of participants who registered for the National Capacity Building program has exceeded the target. As part of the selection process, in the period 11-12 June 2019, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) held a selection or written test for 550 young people in Bojonegoro Regency who had passed the Diploma Education Scholarship administration selection. In the future, graduates of this program will get a Diploma I level certificate and be prepared to become a reliable and competent JTB PT Pertamina EP Cepu Operator Candidate.
“We conducted administrative selection for nearly 1000 scholarship applicants. And 550 test takers are those who have passed the selection. Within 2 (two) days, June 11-12, they are entitled to take part in the written selection in the fields of Science, Mathematics, English and Vocational subjects.” said Kunadi, JTB Site Office & PT Pertamina EP Cepu PGA Manager on the occasion.
The written selection took place at IKIP Bojonegoro, Jalan Panglima Polim No. This activity was also attended by the Deputy Director of PEM Akamigas, Rachman Setiawan, also directly escorted by the Head of the Bojonegoro Regency Office, Agus Supriyanto. Kunadi added that this activity was a PT Pertamina EP Cepu Human Capital program to foster the best sons and daughters of Bojonegoro who would be educated for 18 months in PEM Akamigas. Later, if they meet the selection stages, students will become Candidates for Operators and Mechanics of the JTB Project.
On the First Selection Day, June 11, the Deputy Regent of Bojonegoro, Budi Irawanto, took the time to visit the 550 selection participants and provide motivation.
“This program is a collaboration between PT Pertamina EP Cepu and PEM AKAMIGAS which is fully supported by the Government of Bojonegoro Regency, in order to increase the capacity of the Bojonegoro community, especially graduates of SMA/MA IPA, Technical Vocational Schools to contribute to the oil and gas industry. I hope that every participant who has passed the administrative selection can take advantage of this golden opportunity by seriously participating in the selection, so that later potential and quality oil and gas workers will emerge, especially in the JTB Project.” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Kunadi added, that this program is designed in stages. Participants who pass the written selection are entitled to take part in the health selection on June 20-22, which will be followed by an interview selection. The interview selection will later recruit 110 participants who are ready to take free education at PEM Akamigas. These 110 prospective JTB Project Operators and Mechanics will also be given the opportunity to do internships in various oil and gas industries throughout Indonesia.
As it is known that PT Pertamina EP Cepu is the operator of the Jambaran Tiung Biru project on-stream target in 2021 with gas sales of 192 MMSCFD. In carrying out its business processes, PT Pertamina EP Cepu will be committed to continuing to actively contribute to community development, especially around the Bojonegoro Regency area.
