Ali Masykur Musa is one of the participants of the Diploma I Program in the Apprentice Program, a collaborative program between PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) and PEM Akamigas Cepu which aims to prepare prospective workers in PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s Jambaran Tiung Biru (JTB) gas project. Ali managed to graduate with the highest GPA of 3.85 after 18 months of education. This was conveyed by the Director of PEM Akamigas, RY Perry Burhan at the virtual graduation and inauguration of 108 Apprentice Program participants on Thursday (19/08/2021).
The Apprentice program started in 2019, where as many as 108 of the best sons and daughters from Bojonegoro are preparing to run a training program to join the JTB PT Pertamina EP Cepu Gas Field Unitization Development Project located in Zone 12, Regional 4 Subholding Upstream Pertamina.
PT Pertamina EP Cepu President Director, Awang Blueuardi in his speech said that the JTB gas project will soon be on stream and start operating at the end of 2021. For this reason, the JTB project certainly requires operators and workers with reliable skills in managing and operating the field. JTB itself was determined by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as a National Strategic Project (PSN) to answer gas needs in the Java Region. In the future, it is hoped that the best sons and daughters from Bojonegoro will be able to help oversee the JTB gas project in its operation.
“Brothers and sisters, welcome to Pertamina. In the future, the younger brothers and sisters who will carry out the mandate as Pertamina Officers at PSN Jambaran-Tiung Biru. Currently JTB is in the final phase, which has more than 93 percent of its construction and will start on stream by the end of the year. I am sure that in the hands of these brothers, the JTB project will be able to contribute to the energy that this country needs,” said Awang.
To PEM Akamigas Cepu, Awang expressed his gratitude for the efforts in educating and guiding the young generation of Bojonegoro with dedication, so that they managed to graduate with satisfactory grades. Awang also expressed his appreciation to the Regent of Bojonegoro, SKK Migas and the Head of BPSDM for the synergy that has been established so far so that PT Pertamina EP Cepu can make various achievements. It is hoped that in the future better cooperation will continue to be established for mutual progress.
On the same occasion, the Head of UPP JTB SKK Migas, Waras Budi Santosa, who represented the Head of SKK Migas, congratulated the 108 program participants on the success. “Hopefully the JTB project can run smoothly and be on stream soon, so that the younger brothers from the Apprentice Program will soon have a foothold and start working on this nation’s pride project,” said Waras.
Meanwhile, representing the Regent of Bojonegoro, the Head of the Bojonegoro Perinaker Service, Welly F., expressed his extraordinary appreciation to PT Pertamina EP Cepu and SKK Migas for giving the opportunity to the 108 best sons and daughters of Bojonegoro. “This is an extraordinary moment, coinciding with the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day and in accordance with the theme, Indonesia, Tough Indonesia Grows, very in line with the success of the sons and daughters of Bojonegoro to graduate with good grades in this Apprentice Program,” said Welly.
It is ordered that the participants who have passed this do not get satisfied quickly, are not obnoxious. “Of the many generations in Bojonegoro, you are expected to be an example and enthusiasm to other younger generations. Parents, please continue to be guided by our children to become individuals of integrity and good,” added Welly.
The virtual inauguration procession of prospective operators and technicians at the JTB project was witnessed by the General Manager of JTB, Charles L Tobing, as well as the parents of the participants. The Bojonegoro native students have been provided with materials that include competence and discipline, face-to-face lectures in class or theory, lectures in the laboratory or practice, field visits in the oil and gas industry and internships at Pertamina’s facilities.
Through this Apprentice Program, 108 students were able to earn certificates of expertise equivalent to one plus diploma. All of these participants were able to achieve a GPA above 3.0 with an average GPA of 3.43 while the best GPA was 3.85.
