JAKARTA – One of Pertamina’s subsidiaries, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) has been named the largest KKKS contributor to the 2018 oil and gas tax with a total tax payment of IDR 8.08 trillion. The award was given at the “Appreciation for Friends” event – Cooperative Compliance Program organized by the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, on Tuesday (23/4/2019).
Located at the Oil and Gas Tax Service Office (KPP), the award was received directly by the President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Jamsaton Nababan from the Head of the Special Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) Ikhsan Pria Wibawa accompanied by the Head of KPP Migas Imanul Hakim.
Also present at the event, Director of Business Support PT Pertamina EP Cepu Desandri. On that occasion, as many as 10 Oil and Gas Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) also received the same award from the Government as the largest oil and gas tax payer in 2018 with different inviting values.
Ikhsan Pria Wibawa, said that the appreciation was given as part of the Cooperative Compliance Program. This activity is expected to increase the pattern of harmonious interaction and communication between taxpayers and the Directorate General of Taxes.
“I express my gratitude and highest appreciation to taxpayers who have made excellent contributions, hopefully 2019 will be better than 2018, and tax revenues can benefit the welfare of all people,” he said.
On this occasion, Jamsaton Nababan expressed his hope that as a national strategic sector, the contribution of PT PEP Cepu and the KKKS ranks could be beneficial for the country’s development.
“Please support the parties because in 2019, PT Pertamina EP Cepu has prepared performance targets to support energy independence and welcome strategic energy diversification, including through the Jambaran-Tiung Biru gas production which is targeted to operate in 2021,” said Jamsaton. Jamsaton added that as a business entity, PT Pertamina EP Cepu always carries out its commitment as a taxpayer who complies with its obligations to pay taxes and coordinates with KPP.
The Taxpayer Ranks with total tax revenues from the Oil and Gas KPP in 2018 are as follows: PT Pertamina EP Cepu (Rp. 8.08 trillion), PT Pertamina EP (Rp. 7.4 trillion), ExxonMobile (Rp. 4, 5 trillion), Chevron (Rp. 4.3 trillion), Conoco Philips (Rp. 4.1 trillion), Pertamina Hulu group & PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (Rp. 3.6 trillion), PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (Rp. 3 .5 trillion), British Petroleum (Rp. 3.4 trillion), Talisman, and Medco. This oil and gas tax revenue is very meaningful in achieving the 2018 KPP Migas KPI which managed to reach 98% in the green category.
