Pertamina EP Cepu Promotes Simultaneous Health Programs in Four Villages

BOJONEGORO – Posyandu as a community activity in the health sector, is a forum for preventive and educative health campaigns. Posyandu cadres are very active as health promotion officers.

In carrying out its duties as a National Strategic Project Operator (PSN), PT Pertamina EP Cepu makes efforts to contribute to improving the quality of public health, especially those around the operational area.

The SEHATI program or Healthy Mothers of Beloved Children is a program that was initiated in 2017, showing a high level of intensity regarding the existence of Posyandu. The assistance provided by the working partner, Paratazkia, showed that the Posyandu status was still at the Pratama status, or the 5-table posyandu service was still very dependent on local health workers with infrastructure that was not yet ideal.

Departing from this assistance, PT Pertamina EP Cepu was moved to further improve the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres in managing and implementing Posyandu services. So that it is expected to develop into Madya Posyandu, Purnama Posyandu and Independent Posyandu.

On Thursday, October 17, 2019, in Dolokgede Village, Bandungrejo, Pelem and Kaliombo, PT Pertamina EP Cepu socialized the SEHATI Program activities, which was followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with Posyandu Cadres and local health workers. Partnering with the NGO Paratazkia, PT Pertamina EP Cepu supports the improvement of Posyandu in the vicinity of its operations to realize a systematic posyandu implementation and good management. As well as supporting the integration process with Village Government policies.

Kunadi as JTB Site Office & PGA Manager of PT Pertamina EP Cepu said that the SEHATI Program is an example of PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s care in the health sector. The targets of this program are posyandu cadres, as well as parents of toddlers.

“This activity also aims to address the decline in the nutritional status of children under five in the village, so we actively involve parents of toddlers,” added Kunadi.

 

Meanwhile, from the Bandungrejo Village, represented by Yuswanto, the Head of Governmental Affairs said that with the SEHATI Program from PT Pertamina EP Cepu, the Posyandu Cadres in the Village could continue to improve their abilities in providing Posyandu services for the growth and development of the future generation of children. front.

In the activities held in 4 (four) villages, Isnaniatin, Head of TU PKM Ngasem, Ns. Khoifin, M.M.Kes, Head of PKM Tambakrejo, Tutuk, Deputy Head of Health Promotion PKM Purwosari. Meanwhile, from Pertamina EP Cepu, represented by Edi Arto and Subiyanto from Public Government Affairs. On that occasion, PT Pertamina EP Cepu handed over assistance for posyandu equipment, class equipment for mothers, supporting equipment for making additional food.
