BOJONEGORO – PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) as the operator of the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Gas Field Project again held activities for the younger generation around its operational area. This activity is PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s effort to remind the importance of safe driving, especially when crossing the operational area.
Located at SMPN 2 Purwosari, on Wednesday (06/03/2019), 40 students enthusiastically listened to explanations from several PT Pertamina EP Cepu personnel and the Purwosari Police Chief, Yaban who was accompanied by the Principal of SMPN 2 Purwosari, Sartono.
“This socialization activity on road safety is an introduction and concern for the community around the project in the field of safety. This activity is expected to provide an overview of the project work situation and provide education to students about the importance of safety concerns when driving,” said Feriawan, Lead HSSE GPF & PL Construction.
In addition to providing knowledge and understanding about driving safety and traffic signs, PT Pertamina EP Cepu also explains the process of searching for natural gas and its uses for daily life. The presentation was delivered by Adi Alamsjah, JTB Project Planner.
Meanwhile, Sartono as the Principal expressed his gratitude to PT Pertamina EP Cepu.
“This activity is very helpful in providing knowledge about driving for our students, especially because our school is very close to the JTB operational area,” said Sartono.
Meanwhile, the Head of Purwosari Police, Yaban appreciated this activity which was in line with the Bojonegoro Police program in socializing safety riding for the millennial generation. Yaban even invited the students of SMPN 2 Purwosari to campaign for traffic safety.
