BOJONEGORO – PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) again held entrepreneurship training for the community in its operational area. This activity was opened on (11/19/2018), at the UPT PK Bojonegoro Office.
According to JTB Site Office & PGA Manager Kunadi, this training will be held for the next 20 days.
“The purpose of implementing this training program is to improve the welfare of the community in the area of operation. This activity is also expected to stimulate the growth of independent entrepreneurs around the project site so that it will have an impact on reducing the unemployment rate and increasing the macro economy of the Bojonegoro area,” explained Kunadi.
The program, which is the result of a socio-economic study, is in collaboration with the Technical Implementation Unit for Job Training (UPT PK) of Bojonegoro Regency.
Head of UPT PK Bojonegoro Agus Gunawan reported that there were three categories of training attended by 56 people. Namely, 20 people for Clothing Training, 20 people for Catering and 16 people for Motorcycle Mechanic Development.
“Entrepreneurship training participants come from around the JTB project area, including the villages of Kaliombo, Bandungrejo, Talok, Ngasem, Pelem and Dolokgede,” said Agus.
Head of the Department of Industry and Manpower (Disperinaker) Bojonegoro Agus Supriyanto hopes that each participant will take the training seriously. “If in the future we have products, we need to make improvements, such as packaging, halal certificates and Home Industry Food certificates (PIRT),” he added.
The same thing was conveyed by the representative of SKKMIGAS Jabanusa, Yustian Hakiki, who said that with this training, it is hoped that reliable workshop entrepreneurs, advanced catering entrepreneurs and successful garment/boutique entrepreneurs will emerge.
One of the trainees, Musyarofah from Pelem Village, was very happy to join this training because she could develop her cooking skills. “I want to develop a catering business,” he said.
In the training, in addition to teaching materials, the participants in the culinary arts training received equipment assistance such as a mixer, stove, oven, digital scale, rice cooker/steamer, blender, and a baking sheet. Meanwhile, participants in the fashion or garment arrangement received assistance with sewing machines, overlock machines, sewing scissors, rulers and other sewing equipment. Meanwhile, participants in mechanical training or motorcycle workshops receive assistance with compressor equipment and motor service equipment
“From 2015 until now, PT Pertamina EP Cepu has implemented community development programs, through entrepreneurial skills to 290 beneficiaries in the oil and gas sector and 175 beneficiaries in the non-oil sector,” concluded Kunadi.
