BOJONEGORO — Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) held a series of Safari Ramadan 1440 H while sharing with 1,000 orphans and poor people in Bandungrejo, Kaliombo, Pelem, Dolokgede and Talok Bojonegoro villages.
In this activity, PT Pertamina EP Cepu disbursed funds amounting to 534 million which was allocated for compensation and basic necessities for 1,000 orphans and poor people, assistance for facilities for 6 mosques, as well as economic independence assistance in the form of 2,500 chickens and cage facilities for beneficiaries in the area around the Gas Field Development Project. PT Pertamina EP Cepu President Director Jamsaton Nababan and the PT Pertamina EP Cepu board of directors and Ricky Adi Wibowo as PT Pertamina EP Cepu Commissioner were present at the handover of aid which took place in Bandungrejo Village on Friday (17/5/2019).
“This social activity is a commitment that has been carried out by PT Pertamina EP Cepu from year to year both in Bojonegoro and Jakarta. Hopefully the donations and basic necessities can be a blessing, especially for the people of Bandungrejo, Kaliombo, Pelem, Dolokgede and Talok villages in this holy month of Ramadan, “said Jamsaton Nababan.
Jamsaton also expressed his hope that the relationship that has been established in PT Pertamina EP Cepu community activities in Bojonegoro can strengthen the synergy to jointly support the Jambaran-Tiung Biru Unitization Gas Field Development Project which is planned to produce in 2021.
“PT Pertamina EP Cepu is currently carrying out the mandate through JTB which is a National Strategic Project and will later support the energy security of gas supply in the Central Java and East Java regions. Hopefully we can continue to support the conduciveness of the JTB project together,” he added.
