BOJONEGORO – PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) supports the activities of the Environmental Service (DLH) which seeks to obtain permission from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to operate incinerators or waste processing installations and medical waste/B3 waste at the final processing site (TPA). ) Banjarsari, Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency, on (9/7/2018).

One of the efforts that must be made is to monitor the environment around the landfill related to the operation of the incinerator. Because PT Pertamina EP Cepu has an environmental monitoring contract around the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) project area of operation with PT BMT Asia Pacific Indonesia as a partner, DLH requested PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s assistance. For 30 days, PT BMT Asia Pacific Indonesia conducted environmental monitoring at several points around the landfill. These points include the incinerator storage building and residential areas to the south of the landfill.

“We thank PT Pertamina EP Cepu for helping us,” said the Head of DLH Bojonegoro, Nurul Azizah in front of the PT Pertamina EP Cepu team, namely PGA & PT Pertamina EP Cepu Relations Manager Kunadi, Pandu Subiyanto and Wulan Purnamawati from PGA & Relations, and Yudit Ratania from HSSE.

Meanwhile, Kunadi hopes that with the assistance provided by PT Pertamina EP Cepu, DLH can immediately obtain a permit from KLH and the incinerator can operate smoothly for a clean and comfortable environment. “Hopefully this good synergy between the Regency Government and PT Pertamina EP Cepu can have a good impact on the implementation of the JTB project so that it runs smoothly, safely, and on time,” he concluded.
