JAKARTA – Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) held a sharing session in the Banyu Urip-Jambaran room, Patra Jasa Building, Jakarta, on (4/18/2018). On that occasion, Defrinaldo from PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s HSSE (Health-Safety-Security-Environment) function explained about ISRS (International Sustainability Rating System).
According to Defrinaldo, ISRS is a tool to measure the implementation of management systems. ISRS 7 as a systems approach to management includes 15 elements consisting of: leadership, planning, risk evaluation, human resources (HR), compliance assurance, project management, training & competence, communication & promotion, risk control, asset management, contractor safety management & purchasing (CSMP), emergency preparedness, learning from events, risk monitoring, and results & reviews.
Of the 15 elements, each can be grouped into five groups, namely: leadership, risk, human, HSE, and others. “So these 15 processes are quite comprehensive and involve all functions of company management,” said Defrinaldo. The assessment tool in ISRS 7 already includes matters contained in PAS 55, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
For a deeper introduction and understanding of ISRS, PT Pertamina EP Cepu plans to conduct omega training (15 processes) which will involve several workers representing each function. The goal is that when ISRS is implemented, all functions are ready and have adequate knowledge.
