Pertamina EP Cepu Assists the Community Learning Center for Wana Bhakti Ngasem

BOJONEGORO – Education is the road to success, is a saying that is often heard. Not infrequently various efforts are made to get a proper education. However, education does not always have to be achieved through formal institutions such as schools. People who feel they want to deepen their knowledge and have a great desire to advance can participate in the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). PKBM itself is an activity formed on the initiative of the community and its designation for the community as well.

This PKBM pioneered the Pursuit of Packages A to C activities at the elementary to high school level, Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Business Learning Groups (KBU), Women’s Empowerment, Adult Basic Functional Literacy, Community Reading Parks (TBM) and so on.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the community to obtain the highest education, PT Pertamina EP Cepu provided computer assistance and its equipment to PKBM Wana Bhakti, one of the PKBM in Ngasem Village, Ngasem District

The assistance consisted of 18 laptop units, 2 server units, 2 monitor screen units, UPS and its equipment

“Later on, this laptop will be used as a means of undergoing the Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK) for every PKBM student. We are very grateful to PT Pertamina EP Cepu for helping us, so that the exams run smoothly, and of course in the future every student will be more enthusiastic in studying, “said Suwondo, as the Chair of the Wana Bhakti PKBM and also the Head of Ngasem Village.

PKBM Wana Bhakti is a PKBM that has about 200 students, with different levels. They come from around Ngasem sub-district, Kalitidu and several sub-districts around it.

“Alhamdulillah, PT Pertamina EP Cepu can participate as part of the community to help increase the capacity of the Bojonegoro community, especially around the operational area. Hopefully the computer and accessories provided provide benefits. Please later, this device is kept safe and maintained properly so that it can function optimally,” said Kunadi, JTB Site Office & PGA Manager.

Kunadi also added that he asked for the community’s prayers for the JTB project so that it ran smoothly, on target and without fatalities.
