BOJONEGORO – After successfully developing BUMDes in the areas around its operations, namely Bandungrejo and Dolokgede villages, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) has started to return again by developing and empowering BUMDes in Kacangan Village, Tambakrejo District.
The laying hens cultivation development program that has been developed in 2 (two) villages such as Bandungrejo and Dolokgede is also implemented in Kacangan Village, Tambakrejo. The program began with a Focused Discussion Group attended by the Kacangam Village Government, BPD and BUMDes Cakra Mandiri Management in Kacangan Village, as well as BUMDes administrators in Dolokgede, Mulyorejo, Gading and so on.
Together with its working partner, namely the Association for Democracy and Social Welfare (Ademos), PT Pertamina EP Cepu will carry out this program for the next 5 months.
This program aims to realize the principles of equity and justice in the implementation of community development programs that are not limited to the project area but also communities outside the Jambaran – Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development project area in accordance with regional policy priorities.
In a joint discussion opportunity, Secretary Ademos, A Shodiqurrosyad, explained that this activity was carried out to prepare a business plan for laying hens that will be developed by the BUMDes Cakra Mandiri, Kacangan Village.
“With good business planning, the success rate of laying hens will also be even greater. We will start from scratch such as fostering good BUMDes governance. Both in terms of capital, fixed costs, variable costs to the sales plan later. ” Obviously Arshad.
The development of BUMDes itself is a form of PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s concern for increasing the capacity of BUMDes. This was shown by Edi Arto, as the representative of PT Pertamina EP Cepu Public Government Affairs in the discussion activities.
This was reinforced by Kunadi, as the JTB Site Office & PGA Manager of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, who added that the development of BUMDes was carried out in stages by PT Pertamina EP Cepu, in line with the ongoing operations of the JTB Project and in line with the BUMDes development program of the Bojonegoro Regency Government.
“We conducted a survey before carrying out this activity, and coordinated with the relevant village parties in an effort to increase the capacity of the Cakra Mandiri BUMDes. We hope that in the future BUMDes Cakra Mandiri can be successful and sustainable like BUMDes around the JTB Project site.” Kunadi said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kacangan Village, M. Aziz Ghozali, expressed his deepest gratitude to PT Pertamina EP Cepu as the initiator of the Village and Empowerment program with BUMDes facilitated with Ademos.
The Village Head hopes that with this program, BUMDes income will increase and contribute to Village Original Income (PADes).
“If the PADes of Kacangan Village grows later, it will be used to create programs that can improve the welfare of the community,” he hoped.
