BOJONEGORO – The Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) gas field development unitization project managed by Pertamina’s subsidiary, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu), is currently entering the “engineering procurement construction” (EPC) “gas processing facility” (GPF) stage. .
This was explained by Pertamina Upstream Director Syamsu Alam accompanied by PT Pertamina EP Cepu President Director Jamsaton Nababan in the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan during a working visit to the JTB project, in Bandungrejo Village, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, Thursday (10/1).
Alam explained that PT Pertamina EP Cepu in collaboration with the Bojonegoro Regency Government has also disseminated information to the public regarding the JTB gas field unitization project.
Meanwhile, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan expects PT Pertamina EP Cepu and its partners, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PT PP) and the PT Rekayasa Industri Consortium – PT JGC Indonesia – JGC Corporation Japan to be able to complete the JTB project on time, at the right cost, with the right specifications and with the right rate of return.
“The JTB project is one of the national strategic projects, the government hopes that this project can be completed properly to increase state revenues starting in 2021,” he said.
Therefore, to achieve the target set by the government, Syamsu Alam reminded, if there are things that have the potential to hinder the implementation of the work, they must be reported early to find the best and fastest solution.
As is known, the unitization project for the JTB gas development began with the laying of the first stone by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan on September 25, 2017.
