JAKARTA – Pertamina Upstream Director Dharmawan H. Samsu appreciated the performance of Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) oil production which contributed 25% for Indonesia. This was expressed in the commemoration of the 13th anniversary of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, at the Simprug Sports Center, on Tuesday (14/9/2018).
“Happy birthday PT Pertamina EP Cepu. Hopefully, with high morale, PT Pertamina EP Cepu will succeed in achieving the company’s vision & mission. On this occasion, I remind PT Pertamina EP Cepu workers to be more compact and synergize in running the company’s wheels so that they can manage the Banyu Urip field and the Jambaran Tiung Biru project. Increase cooperation with ExxonMobil especially in technology transfer so that we can get the maximum benefit,” he said.
The same thing was conveyed by PT Pertamina EP Cepu President Director Jamsaton Nababan. “We should be proud because we can manage the Banyu Urip field which is able to contribute around 25% of oil for Indonesia. Currently, oil production from the Banyu Urip field is around 216,000 barrels per day (bpd). Hopefully we can maintain it, even improve it,” he said.
Jamsaton explained, PT Pertamina EP Cepu was also given an assignment by the government to manage the JTB gas field, which is one of the national strategic projects and the largest gas project in Indonesia with a capex efficiency of USD 2.2 billion to USD 1.547 billion. “The project is expected to produce around 172 mmfcsd of gas which is expected to be completed in 2021. Of course the success of the JTB project depends on the support and hard work of all workers and all parties related to the high spirit and slogan of One Team,” he said
Both of them also advised all PT Pertamina EP Cepu staff that the implementation of the HSSE Golden Rules must be prioritized. “Every leader upstream must be an example and role model in the HSE aspect and remind the organization, especially the front liners, of the importance of the safety aspect. We want everyone to come to the project safely, operate safely, return home safely, and meet their families safely,” said Dharmawan.
On that occasion, the Chairman of the committee Defrinaldo reported that in commemorating the 13th anniversary, held a series of events titled ARENA (Action for Meaning Creation) PT Pertamina EP Cepu which involved all PT Pertamina EP Cepu workers and employees at the Jakarta head office as well as at the Bojonegoro site office. Various sports competitions and singing competitions are part of the event that has been launched since 20 August 2018. It is hoped that these various activities can build a spirit of togetherness so that they can improve PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s performance in the future.
