Supporting Santri Learning During a Pandemic, PT Pertamina EP Cepu Distributes Vitamins & Sanitation Kits

JAKARTA (19/09) – In an effort to actively participate in facing the pandemic, PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PT Pertamina EP Cepu) has again provided support to hundreds of students in Jakarta and Bojonegoro. Assistance in the form of hundreds of vitamin packages, sanitation and sterilization equipment and worship tools were given to the Amanah Orphanage Foundation in Pamulang, Tangerang, Banten, and 2 (two) Al Quran Education Parks in Bojonegoro, East Java.

In addition to helping children in a pandemic situation, the provision of compensation and friendship is also in the series of PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s 15th Anniversary. At the location of the activity, the event took place following strict health protocols. The event also took place online, witnessed by the President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Awang Blueuardi and the PT Pertamina EP Cepu management from Jakarta. The condition of Jakarta, which is currently implementing PSBB, does not allow management to be physically present at the location, but this can be circumvented by virtual friendship.

In Bojonegoro, East Java, the handover was carried out symbolically by the JTB Site Office & PT Pertamina EP Cepu PGA Manager, Edy Purnomo at TPQ Islamiyah Alimuntoha and TPQ Bahrul Ulum in Bandungrejo Village witnessed by the PT Pertamina EP Cepu President Director and PT Pertamina EP Cepu management virtually from Jakarta, Saturday, 19/19 19 09).

In his remarks from Jakarta, Awang said that this event was a form of friendship with PT Pertamina EP Cepu brothers in Bandungrejo. In addition, this is also a form of PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s gratitude for the gifts that have been given so far. “Sorry, we can’t immediately join the younger brothers in Bojonegoro because of this pandemic, especially since Jakarta is currently undergoing PSBB. However, we can still hold this event virtually, hopefully it won’t reduce the meaning of our relationship,” explained Awang.

“Hopefully, with this gratitude, Allah SWT will bless our efforts, our work, and grant our prayers in carrying out the mandate of the National Strategic Project, the Jambaran-Tiung Biru (JTB) Unitization Field Gas Development Project. And Alhamdulillah so far the work has been running safely and smoothly. Hopefully, the younger siblings will be able to become hafidz and later become future leaders of the nation who are trustworthy and fair,” added Awang.

Meanwhile, the leader of TPQ Bahrul Ulum, Nuraini, expressed her gratitude for the visit from PT Pertamina EP Cepu. Likewise with the leader of TPQ Islamiyah Alimuntoha, Muslih also expressed the same thing. “Many thanks to Mr. Awang Blueuardi as the President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu for making donations to us. And we thank Mr. Awang for praying for all the students here, and hopefully PT Pertamina EP Cepu will be more advanced and useful for the community, homeland and nation, and hopefully the JTB project will run smoothly. Thank you again, happy 15th birthday to PT Pertamina EP Cepu” said Muslih.

From all the event locations, both at the Amanah Orphanage Foundation in Pamulang, Tangerang, Banten, as well as at TPQ Bojonegoro, all students and female students participated in the event with great enthusiasm. They are patient and sit in an orderly manner by implementing health protocols as well. Keep your distance in your seat, wear a mask and follow the instructions of the pesantren leadership.

Meanwhile, Edy Purnomo added that the selection of vitamin packages and sterilization tools in this compensation activity was aimed at ensuring that students who were taking part in Quran learning activities during this pandemic could maintain their health and cleanliness. So that they can continue their learning activities. “Hopefully this gathering will be beneficial for all parties. Thank you to all the brothers who were quite enthusiastic about participating in this event. Hopefully this TPQ will be more advanced, and hopefully this PT Pertamina EP Cepu support will be beneficial for all of us,” concluded Edy.
