Bojonegoro (07/11) – PT Pertamina EP Cepu’s optimism for on-stream in 2021 is getting hotter. Confidence is shown by completing all Gas Well Drilling operations which include work on 2 (two) wells or wellpads, namely Well Pad East and Well Pad Central.
The Drilling Operation to prepare 6 (six) Production Wells for the Jambaran-Tiung Biru Unitization Field Gas Development Project took place safely, smoothly and faster than the predetermined target time. Of the 6 wells that have been completed, 4 wells have been tested for production at Well Pad East with Rigless Operation work using Long Interval Perforation Technology with an average of 60 MMSCFD per well of raw gas.
The success of the work cannot be separated from the hard work of all PT Pertamina EP Cepu officers involved, support from management and SKK Migas as well as support from external parties such as the Bojonegoro Regency Government and the community around the operating area who work together to realize this National Strategic Project running well. In addition, this success shows that Pertamina through the cold hands of its best sons and daughters has succeeded in managing High Risk Drilling operations with high H2S and Co2 content safely and smoothly. This is also proven by the achievement of 1.5 million hours of survival during the operation. This Happy Working Hours was successfully achieved as of October 31, 2020.
For the success of the Gas Drilling operation which went smoothly, received appreciation from the management.
